Astronomy Program -
Perseids Meteor Shower with Barefoot Bob
Friday August 12
8;30 - 10 pm
Library Main Parking Lot
Bring a lawn chair.
Backup date is Saturday August 13, 8:30 pm.
Perseids Meteor Shower. the Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by comet Swift-Tuttle, which was discovered in 1862. The Perseids are famous for producing a large number of bright meteors. Bonus! Saturn will be rising in the east near the moon.

Trivia Night!
Due to Covid 19 we are not currently hosting Trivia.
Trivia Night is hosted by our director, Jake. It is held at the Marcellus Free Library on the third Thursday of the month from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. All ages are welcome. It's free to play - BYOB (so long as we can all be responsible) and snacks. The maximum number of participants for each team is 6 people.
