MFL 2020 Summer Learning Experience Program for Pre-k - Grade 5
We invite you to join us as we this summer!

Beginning July 1st, come into the library once a week for 6 weeks. Reading logs get stamped, total books/chapters read are submitted, and pick a prize from the treasure chest. For every 5 picture books or chapters read, receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of several assorted prizes. 

Design Depot - craft area. A weekly craft/challenge activity for those looking for an opportunity to be inspired, innovative, and creative. *registration required Click here

Weekly Workshops -  This summer we are partnering with local businesses and organizations, artists, and gardeners to bring these workshops to the community. *Registration is required for all workshops.

Participate in Planting a Garden at MFL
presented by Mark Moncavage of Sparrow Flowers and Gardens(Local Gardner)
Wednesday Evening , July 17th at 6:30 p.m. at MFL
Families will learn about garden creation and design, and will participate in planting a beautiful new flower garden on the grounds of MFL    Click Here to Register

Marcellus Family Mural Project
Presented by Rob Petrie (Local Artist)
Thursday Evening July 18th and 25th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at MFL
Families will work together to devise and paint to triptychs (representing the community of Marcellus) that will be displayed downstairs in the children's area of the Library. Click here to Register

All Ages Helping All Ages
Presented by the Marcellus Grange, Town of Marcellus - Mary Widger
Wednesday Evening July 31st at 6:30 .p.m 15 W. Main St. Marcellus
Families will work together to make a stuffed toy for the children at Golisano Hospital.

Orenda Springs Adventure- ages 5 - 10 Limited to 16 kids (accompanied by their parents) 
Zip Lining and Pony Riding with John Powers

'The Big Reveal ' Celebration   Wednesday, August 7th from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.  All Community members are invited to celebrate the completion of our triptychs, flower garden, and our Summer Learning Experience Programs and Workshops. The band AMP will play on the Library lawn from 7 - 8 p.m.
