Families of children ages 0-5 years are invited to join Miss Ilah for some Storytime Adventures. Magical tales, lively tunes & captivating crafts provide an imaginative way for kids & caregivers to start their day together. Siblings are welcome!

Couch to 5K - Info Session

Thinking about starting a running routine? Join Miss Sophia and fellow community members to learn more about our upcoming Couch to 5K run/walk program. This info session will cover program details, expectations, and how to get started—no experience necessary!

Monday Memories: Reminiscence Group

Monday, April 20 | 10 AM–1 PM

Join caregivers and older adults—especially those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s—for a welcoming, relaxed program centered on connection and shared memories. Reminiscence kits with photos, objects, and prompts will be available to spark conversation, storytelling, and meaningful engagement.

Mini Birdhouse Painting Workshop for Children

Tuesday, April 28 | 4:45 PM - 5:45 PM

Join Miss Ilah for a fun and creative Birdhouse Painting Workshop for kids! Young artists will paint and decorate their own mini wooden birdhouse to take home. All supplies will be provided.
This program is perfect for children ages 5-10!

Toytime Tuesdays

Bring your little ones for open play in the Friends Community Room—enjoy all the toys we have set up without the stress of cleanup! A caregiver must remain with children at all times.

Tabletop Tuesdays!

Tuesdays, April 7, 14, 21, & 28 | 1 PM - 6 PM

Looking for a fun way to spend your afternoon? Stop by for Tabletop Tuesdays, the Reference Section will be stocked with board games for open play. Come solo or with friends and enjoy a casual, welcoming space to connect, unwind, and play.

Typewriter Project: Library Edition

All-month long

In honor of National Poetry Month, we've installed The Typewriter Project booth. This analog station encourages patrons to contribute their words to a collaborative piece. Each contribution becomes part of a growing community narrative—preserved on the scroll and available to read, reflect on, and celebrate throughout the month of April.
